Obotics To Display CannaDeck, the Innovative Robot for Sample Prep Automations

LOS ANGELES — January 23, 2018 /Canna Newswire/ — Cannabis technology innovators Obotics (www.obotics.net) will display its innovative CannaDeck robotic lab assistant at the 2018 Emerald Conference, taking place at the Hyatt Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego from February 15-18. Emerald Conference attendees can observe a live demonstration of the CannaDeck and discuss the technology with Obotics founder Lane Yago at booth #141.

“The Emerald Conference is a great opportunity to share our robotic CannaDeck sample prep system with the cannabis science community,” Lane Yago stated. “I also look forward to meeting many of the pioneers in this industry and sharing ideas about what the future here looks like. There should be plenty of interesting discussions throughout the four-day event.”

The CannaDeck system provides automation for nearly every step of the sample preparation process for cannabis extraction labs. It provides reproducible precision and accuracy in testing for potency, pesticides, terpenes and various microbiology tests. The CannaDeck is able to do the work of two lab technicians at once, thus offering a cost-effective solution for laboratories that are struggling to keep up with expanding backlogs as the legal cannabis revolution continues across the United States. In addition to the cannabis industry, Obotics robotic lab automation solutions are able to provide value in the food safety and toxicology testing industries.

The Emerald Conference is the premier trade show for cannabis science, attracting clinicians, lab operators, extraction professionals, policymakers, dispensary owners and others involved in the cannabis industry. Attendees will see presentations and panel discussions from leading innovators in cannabis technology, addressing topics such as extraction and sample analysis best practices. There will be a large floor of vendors showcasing new products and services, along with plenty of networking opportunities and time for informal discussion among attendees. This will be the fourth annual edition of The Emerald Conference, which has doubled in length in response to the success of its previous incarnations.

“We are seeing a tremendous influx of bright individuals into the cannabis science community, and the 2018 Emerald Conference will certainly highlight the rapid advances taking place,” Lane Yago commented. “Obotics is excited to be on board, and we urge all attendees to stop by our booth and see how the CannaDeck can transform their laboratory.”
