Respected Neurosurgeon Brings Distinguished Career and Medical Expertise to Geocann’s Executive Management Team




Anthony Petraglia, M.D., joins Geocann as Chief Medical Officer to focus on the advancement of new product innovations that target the most pressing consumer health concerns as well as the research and publication of the company's patent-protected portfolio of cannabis products.

Petraglia is well-recognized as a leader in neurological research with specialties in spine and brain surgery as well as extensive subspecialty experience in sports-related neurologic injuries.

Petraglia is a neurosurgeon at Rochester Regional Health and serves as the Executive Director of the hospital's concussion program. A participating member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons, he co-authored the “Handbook of Neurological Sports Medicine: Concussion and Other Nervous System Injuries in the Athlete” with Dr. Julian Bailes and Dr. Arthur Day.
